Zinedine Yazid Zidane was born on June 23 1972 and is a retired French World Cup-winning soccer player. Zidane played for clubs in France, Italy and Spain , and was the captain of the French national team, He is considered to be one of the greatest players in the history of soccer. He was the best figure of a generation of French players that won the 1998 World Cup and 200 European Championship. After a brief international retirement, he returned to the national team in 2005 and captained France to the 2006 World Cup Final where he won the Golden Ball as the tournament's most outstanding player. Zidane also won the La Liga and the UEFA Champions League with Real Madrid, two Serie A league championships with Juventus, and an International Cup, and a UEFA Super Cup. He is alongside the Brazilian striker Ronldo, the only three-time FIFA World Player of the Year winner; he also won the Ballon d'Or in 1998. Roberto Carlos da Silva Rocha was born on April 10 1973 in Garca, Sao Paulo, Brazil. He was commonly known as Roberto Carlos and was a Brazilian Soccer Player.He was also part of the Brazil National team in three World Cups, helping the team reach the final in 1998 and winning the 2002 tournament.Roberto Carlos played for Spanish club Real Madrid for 11 years, winning four leagues, three UEFA Champions Leauge trophies, and two Intercontinental Cups. He is also one of only six players to have played more than 100 matches in the Champioc League, in February of 2008. For his Club Career Roberto Carlos played at Real Madrid C.F. for 11 seasons, pplaying a total of 584 matches and scoring 71 goals in all competitions. 370 of the matches were league matches, in which he scored 46 goals from his left-back position. He famously set up Zinedine Zidane to score the winner for Real Madrid to win the Champions League in 2002. In January 2006, he set a club record for the most league matches played by a non-Spanish born player by making his 330th appearence for Real Madrid. He broke the previous mark of 329 appearances held by Alfredo di Stefano. On 9 March 2007, he announced his decision to not renew his contract with Real Madrid. But in one of the last few games of the season in the dying seconds against Recreativo di Huelva, Fernando Gago played a beautiful pass and Roberto Carlos slotted it home. Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima was born on Semptember 18 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was commonly known as Ronaldo. He won his first Ballon d'Or as the European Soccer Player of the year in 1997 and again won the award in 2002. Also he is one the only two men to have won the FIFA Player of the Year award three times, along with French Soccer Player Zinedine Zidane. Ronaldo has played for Brazil in 97 international matches, scoring 62 goals. During the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Ronaldo became the highest goalscorer in the history of the World Cup with his fifteenth goal, beating Gerd Muller's (German Soccer Player) previous record of 14 goals.
