Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima

Ronaldo Luis Nazario de Lima was born on Semptember 18 1976 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was commonly known as Ronaldo. Ronaldo was one of the Best Scorers in the world in the late 1990's and the early 2000's. He won his first Ballon d'Or as the European Soccer Player of the year in 1997 and again won the award in 2002. Also he is one the only two men to have won the FIFA Player of the Year award three times, along with French Soccer Player Zinedine Zidane. Ronaldo has played for Brazil in 97 international matches, scoring 62 goals. During the 2006 FIFA World Cup, Ronaldo became the highest goalscorer in the history of the World Cup with his fifteenth goal, beating Gerd Muller's (German Soccer Player) previous record of 14 goals.
